You might have GERD: You might have  GERD with  acid reflux causing burning  of your soft palate.  If Famotidine does not help, you have to change to a different (stronger )medication such as Prilosec or Protonix (pantoprazole)

Normal: As the palate is developing while you were in the womb it consists as three parts that merge to form the roof of the mouth.  The two largest parts come in from the side and fuse together leaving a midline ridge of bone and lining. It is a normal result of palate development.

Depends: It really depends on the cause.  Palatal blisters are usually caused by hot foods or beverages.  The mucosa responds by accumulating clear tissue fluid which is released when the blister bursts. Complete healing usually occurs in from 7 to 10 days if not irritated further by acidic liquids or hard, abrasive foods. Vitamin e ointments or oils can enhance healing as it does for most burns.

Dr. can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is very painful, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Some throat lozenges can temporarily lessen pain.

Don't know: Further history would need to be obtain with physical examination and possibly radiographic studies. I don't know if this a sinus issue or not.

Possibly: But you could also have a fungal infection in your mouth.  Do see a doctor to have this looked at.
