can i have scabies without a rash, i itch on my arms, wrists, hands, back, hips, butt, legs, shins and really bad on anckles, but no rash!

Possible: It is possible, but whole body itching suggests to me that we should look for a metabolic reason for your itching, such as high bilirubin or other metabolite.  See your doctor for evaluation.

i woke up two days ago with red small bumps on my left leg. my brother had scabies two months ago but i do not live with him. ran thru feild on fri.

Possible.: Scabies generally has a prolonged presentation from time of exposure, it could take weeks from the initial exposure to develop the rash... so it depends on when you saw him last.  Depending on the area you live, there are plenty of insects such as chiggers can cause welts/bumps.  It's still worth going to the doc to check.

Doubtful: Scabies is a disease caused by an ectoparasite mite. It is highly contagious. It causes a rash that occurs between the fingers, in skin creases, axillae etc. The rash causes severe itching 1 bump on the leg is unlikely to be scabies.

Allergy/ trauma: Could be allergy to one or more to the meds.. You are on, 
or from constant trauma to the area like rough clothing and such.

Scabies: Scabies in people is cause by a mite called Sacroptes Scabieivar. Hominis.Scabies looks like lines of burrows on skin made w little mounds or blisters. They cause itching which is often worse at night. Although they can be anywhere on skin they like going into skin folds (waistline, axilla, breasts, between fingers, feet, wrists, knees,  elbows,buttocks &amp; genitalia. You aren't likely to see mites.
