Itchy eyes: Do not scratch your eyes, or you may suffer a corneal abrasion.  Rubbing the eyes may only make the allergic symptoms worse.  It may be better to try an allergy drop such as pataday, lastacaft, (alcaftadine) elestat, or zaditor.  Most of these medicines can be prescribed by your ophthalmologist.  Zaditor is available over-the-counter.

Fasciculations?: Not sure what you mean by vibrating. There are eyelid twitches (usually a lower lid) when your eyes are open or "fasciculations" or quivering of the upper eyelids when eyes are closed while awake. Caffeine has been implicated in both these scenarios but it could be strain of facial muscles from stress or routine gesticulations (facial expressions). Itching is usually allergy but could b other prob.

Allergy Likely: These symptoms are typical from allergic responses.  Commonly, these could be from either environmental/seasonal allergy or a contact dermatitis type response (surface flare or inflammation due to coming in direct contact with something you are sensitive to).
If basic allergy medications or eye drops do not give adequate relief, see your primary doctor or an allergist or ophthalmologist.

No: While many symptoms a woman may feel could be associated with pregnancy (nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, etc.), I am not aware that a correlation exists that itchy eyes are an early sign of pregnancy.

Treat the cause: If you have allergic conjunctivitis, then a topical antihistamine eyedrop such as Pataday or Optivar can alleviate the itching.

Avoidance is also highly recommended, if you know which allergens trigger the ocular symptoms.

: I would never put it in eyes. If you are asking about using it to wash eye lashes or skin, I don't see a problem with it.

Two separate: Eye allergies can be controlled with topical antihistamine and often with nasal steroid (on the nose only) as well.  Eye allergies may lead to dryness but people can have both with artificial or Rx anti-inflammatory eye drop needed. If you have allergies, best Rx is avoidance of allergens. Otherwise allergy shots may be the answer.

Itchy eyes: I usually have patients start with a preservative free artificial tear, such as theratears.  Keep them cold, and they will be more soothing.  If the tears don't help, then try zaditor over-the counter twice a day for a few weeks.  If this does not work, ask your ophthalmologist for Pataday or lastacaft, (alcaftadine) both once-a-day potent drops for ocular allergies.
