Why ?: Sauna suits are not recommended for any specific medical therapy. They causes intense sweating. They can lead to dehydration. They do not help a person lose weight they simply cause sweating. They are not recommended for anyone for medical treatments whether breastfeeding or not.

No: These "pop" claims are made up, probably by the manufacturers of sports and relaxation clothes that do not include neoprene. I'm sorry the world is full of crooks.

Sauna suit: Sweating can be a good way to eliminate toxins, however using a sauna suit can cause over heating. So you need to make sure you drink plenty of fluids and keep your electrolytes balanced as well. Just make sure you keep your body temperature down!

Yes: Yes, that would cause you no harm comma perhaps may cause a little weakness and fatigue, but spina bifida is a fixed disorder. It would not be aggravated by heat. Oh, what I mean is that it would not be made worse by heat. You would not progress

Only a few: You will loose more weight due to water loss but this only lasts until you rehydrate.  There is a little increase in caloric consumption but not enough to help and not enough to risk dehydration and sun stroke.

Accepted Answer

Maybe: Best to check in with your surgeon.  The timing of surgery, ext of surgery +/- the method of reconstruction, and your healing status all need to be considered.  If your have need released by your surgeon after postop check and cleared to exercise, just make sure you stay well-hydrated.

Can be.: Sauna helps you sweat which is one of the ways your body gets rid of toxins.  Sweating is an important part of being healthy and sauna can help with that.  Sauna is not appropriate for everyone however and you should discuss it with your physician.  Take care!

Ok: It's okay as long as you go just for a short period of ime 10-15 minutes at the most, and you get out of it if you start having any physical symptoms like dizziness, fatigue etc. You should also drink enough water, to avoid dehydration.

can i go to the sauna if i have a small mioma?

Accepted Answer

Yes: You should be able to still use the sauna.  However, you would want to not use the sauna if you are pregnant.  Happy sweating!
