Diarrhea, cramps.: Severe, acute hemorrhagic diarrhea and abdominal cramps are the main symptoms. Usually little or no fever is present, and the illness resolves in five to 10 days. It can also be asymptomatic.  Fluid replacement and blood pressure support may be needed to prevent death from dehydration.  Treatment with may cause kidney complications.  Hemolytic-uremic syndrome is a life-threatening condition.

Usually not: Completely different organ systems.  It is conceivable that salmonella sepsis could potentially cause damage, but the sespsis would have been a critically ill, likely spent time in intensive care sort of infection, not just a simple food poisoning.

No risk, no worries: The vast majority of eggs are not contaminated with Salmonella or E. coli. But if it were contaminated, dish washing detergent would kill it immediately. So definitely this isn't something to worry about.

Culture: A stool culture will give the answer in about 48 hours.  If you are under treatment for crohn's, your gastroenterologist knows all about this.  The truth is that most food poisoning is self-limited though a major nuisance while you have it; the greatest concern is the e. Coli that cause hemolytic-uremic syndrome.

what can i do about health anxiety im constantly worrying about something for example i had a pizza that had a slightly soggy base i i cant stop worrying about e coli or salmonella and i constantly wash my hands especially after being to the toilet?

: Washing your hands regularly is a good practice and will help keep you healthy and safe. Over worrying about illnesses and disease transmission is not healthy. Have you spoken to anyone about your fears? You may want to discuss with your physician who may refer you to a therapist for counseling.

It depends: Salmonella and e coli can devastate even the strongest individual.  Symptoms from these infections depend on the how strong the exposure is to these organisms and the over all health of the patient.  If the exposure is small enough then it is possible that no symptoms will occur.  If the exposure is still small but the recipient is already weakened from something else then problems may occur.
