Cough: Monitor symptoms closely. Could be infection or allergic. Be sure the baby is eating and drinking normally. If the baby seems to be having difficulty breathing/ more agitated than is baseline/or having worsening symptoms then call your pediatrician.

MCI: Mild cognitive impairment can present in different ways. Pure amnestic(short term memory loss) mci is  now known to be pre alzheimers- 12-15% of these patients will progresss to ad per year. Non- amnestic mci where other areas of brain function are affected is not pre ad; it may remain stable. Both types of mci need close follow up to monitor for progression of illness.

Eat the Rainbow: Eating a variety of brightly colored fruits and vegetable is a good thing to do for overall health. If you are not on blood-thinning medicine you can consider taking a supplement called ginkgo biloba.  Good luck.

No: New babies just want a few basic things: food, protection/love, and to be clean. They need us at this age, and want us to be there for them. So, by holding them when they cry, or feeding them every time they are hungry, or changing their diapers when they only have a little pee stain will not spoil them. We all need more love anyway.

Pregnancy Tests: Even inexpensive home pregnancy tests are quite accurate. Have you missed your period? Most women test after they miss a period? You can repeat test in a week if still no period. Take care.

Depends: Technically, we consider a true fever of 38.0 or higher. Assuming you have no kidney or liver disease, tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin would be an option for symptom relief. If you're concerned about infection, it really depends on the source such as pneumonia, cold, urinary tract infection, etc. Not all requires antibiotics and if they do require treatment, it would depend what you have. Best to see your doc.

Yes, But...: Yes, but i would still recommend that you suggest that you both go down to your local clinic and both be tested together before you become intimate.  Either of you could have an infection and not know it.  The experience may provide you with a great deal of information regarding your relationship.

Small frequent meals: Its not unusual for travellers to change their norm--diet, activity, bowel habits, fluid ; alcohol intake. Any of these alterations, +/- the stress of travel, may promote an change in appetite. If your anorexia only presents when travelling, relax ; accomodate with smaller more frequent meals ; avoid things that upset the gut. If your anorexia is becoming a trend, even when home, seek help please.

Fever, home remedies: Firstly, how old is ur son?

In a baby less than 2 month old u would need to see the docotr asap. In children upto 1 yearof age, also, u shoudl seek medical care asap. Most fevers could be benign but it is difficult to assess fever on the phone. U should talk to ur pediatrican & tell about any other symptoms. In older children you can try Acetaminophen at home&if fever persists u should call ur md.
