Too many: There are many medications that contain ibuprofen. The best advice is to read all labels and if you are not sure of the ingredients then speak with the pharmacist or doctor first.

None: You can typically mix most medications with motrin.  Tylenol (acetaminophen) should be spaced out from motrin if additional anti-pyretic (fever) medication is needed.  Childrens advil is the same medication and should not be given together.  antibiotics, or other medication can be given at same time.  If you have additional concerns, you can request consult.

Narcotic: Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen) is a combination of hydrocodone, a narcotic, and inuprofen, advil.  The first number is the hydrocodone dose and the second is the i uptown dose.  Ie. Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen) 5/200 means each pill has 5 mg hydrocodone and 200 mg ibuprofen.

currently on xenical. if i take ibuprofen will either medication be affected by the other? if i take any pain killer will it be affected by xenical?

No: There are no known interactions between xenical and ibuprofen

i have recently been put onto fluanxol. can i take paracetamol or codeine with it? unable to take ibuprofen due to drug interactions with other medication i am on?

Not recommended: Fluanxol is an antypsychotic that may interact with codeine and unless specifically prescribed by your treating GP or psychiatrist would recommend abstaining from self treating, but rather reporting to one of your physicians your symptoms so that they can make proper recommendations with details of your condition in hand.

i got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted a week ago. since then i am on ibuprofen 800 twice a day. how long can i continue the medication?

Read the paperwork: You can safely take all the pills the surgeon prescribed for you. Read the literature that came with the prescription and stop taking them  if you start to have any of the side effects.

i have asthma and  costochondritis i been on a medication called ibuprofen , i feel weird after i take it because my right lower part of my belly hurt.?

Side effect: Anti-inflammatory medications can cause stomach irritation. Take Ibuprofen with food when you need it, but see your doctor if the pain lasts more than a few days.
