Stationary Bike: Best machines would allow for knee motion without significant load on the knee.  That would be something like a stationary bike set to low resistance.
Pool exercises are also good.

Accepted Answer

Popping not problem: Popping is usually just a vacuum phenomenon.  If it doesn't hurt and the knee is not unstable, probably not a problem.

There are many: There are many others. Lunges, ankle weight quad strengthening, squats, cutting exercises for better side to side agility to mention a few. If you have a knee injury, talk with a doctor familiar with rehabilitation to determine what is safe for you.

Only one image: On a conventional x ray machine, to make an x ray beam electrons hit an "anode" in one spot. This heats it. To reduce the point of heat, the anode spins before, during and just after the exposure. This is likely what you heard.
 To take many conventional images one after another you need a different machine, usually a fluoroscope.

Muscle tear : You could've tomorrow muscle in your thigh. I quit I saw that you may need to see your physician.

Accepted Answer

Yes: It is less pounding or impacts on your knees.  However, some people dont like the feel of the position their legs are in during the revolutions of some elliptical machines so you may need to try different types to find the one you like.

had knee surgery 5 days ago, using c.p.m. machine 9 hrs a day.being bed ridden i feel sluggish, are there any excercises i can do while sitting in bed?

Yes: I'm concerned you are still spending so much time in bed. Please check w your doctor about being able to get out of bed using a walker or crutches. Other exercises could include upper body exercises-with or without weights. Are you doing any physical therapy? And crunches.  At some point, if doc is ok w it, swimming should be an option.

months after aclr using my quad and meniscus repair, ive done weights and used the shuttle machine and thought i can handle the weight i chose, and heard a small pop when loading force and now i feel extreme pressure thats uncomfortable in my knee?

: This symptom is best evaluated by the orthopedic surgeon who performed your surgery, knows what the status of your knee joint was at time of surgery, at post op checkups and while getting rehabilitation therapy.

CPM: A continuous passive motion machine is used to assist in knee flexion after surgery.  Only certain surgeries require the use of the machine.

Accepted Answer

It depends on what-: -radiologist was looking for. In order to flatten out the LS spine you must be in a hip/knee flexion position. But leaning forward sounds like you were standing, &amp; the standing films are usually for alignment as for scoliosis. Otherwise I have no idea what was being looked at.
