i have a spot on the inside of my cheek. it's smooth , red and painless but it started off rough and had no change in color from the rest of my cheek.

Spot: Size? Location? Density?  Please see your Dentist or an Oral Surgeon to make sure that this is nothing to be worried about.

Any abnormal lesion that has not healed within 10 days needs to be examined and possibly biopsied.

Oral Lesion: Any lesion that has not resolved on its own within two weeks should be evaluated by a dentist, possible an oral surgeon. Smoker, chewing tobacco, alcohol user? Size of lesion and location? best bet is to have it examined.

hi. i just noticed a reddish hickey like spot on my cheek that wasn't there a couple of hours ago . what could be causing this?

Suction or friction: can both cause a lesion that looks like a hickey. Possibly a bug bite?  As a pediatrician, it is not uncommon to see lesions like this on children's faces from pushing a cup or open bottle top against the skin.
