could the head ache cause stomach ache and why?

What came first?: We'll need a little more helpful information from you.  If you developed nausea &amp; left upper abdominal pain after treating your headache with a lot of Aspirin or NSAID analgesics, you may have promoted stomach upset &amp; even an ulcer.  On the other hand, if your headache &amp;GI upset presented together, you may be describing an "intestinal migraine."

my wife just strtd taking minigynon 30, but she took her dosage an hour early last nite. she woke up feeling head and stomach ache, whats is wrong?

Flu or side effects: Taking a pill an hour early will not have a significant effect. Her other issues could be unrelated to pill or side effects which can include nausea, mood swings, bloating, breast tenderness, and on occasion, headache.  These symptoms usually go away in first few weeks.  Do not stop taking ocp unless symptoms are severe.  Discuss further with prescribing doctor

Yes: Absolutely.  Use of non-steroidal analgesics such as Naproxen on a regular long term basis would commonly cause daily headaches as well as stomach aches.  Consult doctor for more.

Not knowing: "Know" is pretty strong. Perhaps you'll strongly suspect it. One thing is presence of periods w/out any of the symptom. Most physical problems don't clear up and return - they stay and may worsen. Having normal exam and/or test results. These are not 100% but closer than feelings. So, have a good exam if you get past the 1st step. Then a psych eval and CBT therapy aimed at somatic mgmt. Best!

pain, nausea,fever: It is time to call your doctor to make an appointment to check you concerning all your ailments.  Too many possibilities as to the cause or causes.

Needs evaluation.: It’s hard to tell what is going on by those bits of information. However, she does sound sick enough to warrant a formal investigation.  She should be brought to her doctor, and if her doctor is not available today she should be brought to an urgent care center or ED..

Aches and pains: It sounds like you may have a viral infection. Take 200-400 mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours with food (never on an empty stomach), plenty of fluids, and 8 or more hours of sleep nightly.  If not feeling better in a few days, see your doctor.
