Cannot overdose: I do not know if it potentiates (makes more effective) to take rose hips. I do know that vitamin c is not fat soluble, and if taken in too much quantity can cause diarrhea, that is excreted. No lasting harm as far as i know.

Vitamin C: Taking 1000mg will not be problematic relative to 500 mg but it would probably be more effective to take one 500mg tablet in the morning and the other at night. Your body's capacity for absorbing vitamin c is limited and once exceeded the balance is excreted and therefore wasted. Consider dosing twice a day rather all at once.

Bioflavonoinds are pigments found in plants and aren't going to harm you. You've been done a disservice by 'nutrition' sites; get with an evidenc-based physician / dietician.
