A member asked:

Where do i find foods with vitamin c but without bioflavonoids or rose-hips?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basic biology: Most fresh vegetables and fruits have vitamin c. Rose hips are pulped and added to synthetic vitamin c (manufactured from petroleum) in tiny amounts to give it glamour so the manufacturers can charge an inflated price. Bioflavonoinds are pigments found in plants and aren't going to harm you. You've been done a disservice by 'nutrition' sites; get with an evidenc-based physician / dietician.
