Iron supplements: Need for iron supplements depends on how low your iron was before you started them. Were you anemic before? Also, i don't know whether your multivitamin already has iron in it. Because of these unknowns, your own physician will be in a much better position to answer your question than online healthtap doctors.  Best wishes.

Unlikely: The effects of altitude reverse fairly quickly--w/in 48 hours ; he would have had to go to significant elevation. At worse, worry about a triggered more serious event such as a heart attack, blood clot (car travel?)trave, or stroke (i don't know what you mean by 'dizzy). Even pulmonary edema from altitude clears fast. Two weeks is too long to blame altitude itself. I agree he should be checked out.

i have a blood oxy reading of 73 and i have no breath and weak as a kitten, my lungs are clear heart checks ok but in pain due to a bad back condition, i would like your input.   thanks  ron?

Hypoxic Kitty see Dr: Pulse ox reading are normally 95 to 100. Under 90 is low. I do not know your baseline pulse ox. Maybe you have COPD? However with all of those symptoms I suggest you go to  the ER  to rule out life threatening conditions  like Pulmonary Embolism,  pneumonia, sepsis, heart attack, disseting aortic aneurysm, anemia or something else. Need pain treatment plan so less pain. They say cats have 9 lives.

what is your recommendation for glasses for night driving? i'm a physician with constant photophobia (and infrequent migraines).

Night driving: Ron,
I broke 5 pairs of glasses when I was 6 years old and I am now 71.
I have worn glasses and contacts for years but no i am back on glasses with little being seen through my right eye. To date I have had no trouble driving day or night.
Photo-phobia can be very troubling and I strongly recommend you see a Psychologist.
I hope this helps and I would appreciate what develops.

: The temperature of the deep tissues of the body (core temperature) remains almost constant, within 1 degree F range.  The average normal core temperature ranges between 98.0 and 98.6 degree F when measured orally.  However, core temp. in many active children and a few normal adults runs between 99 and 101 degree F.
