Not now: You probably just injured one of the nerves to the finger by the pressure of the scraper.  This is much like your foot feeling numb with your legs crossed.  Usually this will return fairly quickly.  If still numb by 2 weeks you should see your doctor.

Finger numbness can also result from infection, inflammation, trauma, and other abnormal processes. Most cases of finger numbness are not due to life-threatening disorders, but it does occur with stroke and tumors.

The roots are in the neck, the fibers forom the c-8 & t-1 exit, and form the nerve on the other sie of the brachial plexus.  Stretching anywhere along the nerve causes numbness.

Hard to tell: Each finger has two main arteries. One on each side, so if that side is cold then that artery is not providing the same amount of blood flow as the one on the other side of the finger.

Neurologic possible: That sounds neurologic and I would consider carpal tunnel or maybe an individual nerve irritation. Try to wear a wrist splint and see if that helps otherwise see your physician
