The calcification is tiny in size and is often of no significance. It is on the kidney. The size is really small to be of concern. Suggest discuss with the MD that ordered the test.

Key is to have stone monitored, with good hydration

Renal colic?: If this pain to which you refer is on the right side in the mid-back, then I would think it realistic to presume this being due to your kidney stone.  The pain associated with a kidney stone, termed "renal colic" tends to start in the mid-back and shoot down and around to the front.  But, having pain would be contingent on that stone trying to pass, and not if it's just sitting up in the kidney.
