Acid reflux: Pickle juice will probably not help acid reflux because it is acidic.  Yes, acid reflux can make you feel nauseated and sick.  If you have symptoms every day, you may need to try an over-the-counter antacid every day to feel better.

Needs time: Reflux is a condition that children must outgrow. I usually tell parents that if you do nothing they will outgrow it by a year. Once you introduce food it often improves. It can worsen between 6-8 months as the child gets more mobile and "shakes himself up" with crawling.

So once in a while is not a worry, but a chronic regular problem needs to be discussed with a dr.
