what can i do to get rid of two red veins in the white of eye?

Dry: There are a number of reasons for dilation of blood vessels on the conjunctiva (white part of eye).  Some of the common reasons are simple conditions such as dryness or blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids).  Other reasons can include growths such as pingueculum or pterygium.  Certain inflammatory conditions can also be possible causes, along with thyroid disease among other conditions.

a hair poked the side of my left eye 3 days ago and the eye veins in that area have been red since then. i have no pain or noticeable loss of vision in that eye. should i be concerned?

No: Do not be concerned, this is probably just irritation from the hair and will resolve in a few days.

Art tears, sleep: Your linked image doesn't show enough detail to see any blood vessels in the eye or red eye. The most common causes in your age group are dry eye and mild radiation burns from too much computer use. Artificial tears, sleep, and a radiation reducing screen over your monitor should solve your problem. Allergy is a possibility, but you would probably have itchy eyes.

Depends on size: Depends on size of the area excised.After this period of time,you should return to your surgeon for advice . There may be some drops that will help the injection.

Bloodshot eye: Leave it alone.   It could be a subconjunctival hemorrhage and will get better by itself - could take a week.  If he has pain or other symptoms, see the doctor.

Eyelids red: It sounds like eyelid skin irritation. If red, you can try 1% hydrocortisone ointment to the lids.  If flaky or crusty,
one can get antibiotic ointment for the lids from the eye doctor (blepharitis, like eczema of the lids).

Dryness/fatigue: The blood vessels naturally become more visible in the eyes as you age due to thinning of the tissues. Exacerbations of eye redness may occur from a variety of things such as dryness, wind, tiredness, allergies, infections, inflammations, & chronic use of some types of ophthalmic medications. As a benign treatment, trial some otc artificial tears (eg. Refresh tears) to soothe your eyes.

Not necessarily: If you can control the dryness with regular usage of artificial tear (preferably single-use without preservative) you may be able to reverse it assuming that's the only reason for the redness. Plugging the duct draining from the eye to the nose may also conserve more tear. Restasis drop (RX) can be very effective if all else failed.

Avoid red eye drops: Whites of eyes discolor usually from the blood vessels enlarging, making the eyes bloodshot. An exception is yellowing (jaundice) from liver disease. Red eyes are often caused by dryness or allergies. Lubricating or allergy drops (eg ketotifen) can be a big help. Drops that 'get the red out' are highly affective cosmetically but can be very addictive - the eyes get more red if you try to stop.

Don't Worry: Blood vessels are normal on the white of the eye, and necessary to nourish the tissues. The vessels can become enlarged and more visible due to allergies, irritation, dryness, infections, etc. See your eye doctor to look into the issue.
