See MD: You need to be seen to establish what is going on.  I do not understand where on your legs the redness and "rock hard lump " are.  Trauma comes to mind, but you may have some blood vessel issue, as an inflammed vein or blood clot issue.  Please be seen today in a clinic or an ER.

we introduced our 7th month old  to peanuts as suggested by our doctor. afterwards, his face, reaching down to his neck and legs had patches of redness and scale which feels very warm. what are the remedies to relieve these symptoms if it's allergy?

Could be anything: This could be a simple fungal infection, dermatitis or something serious such as a melanoma. See your doctor for a proper skin examination / dermoscopy to get a definite diagnosis. It is difficult to tell what it is without having a good look at the spots

Could be anything: A red patch could be anything.  The presence or absence of itch is not a helpful characteristic.  Since it is new, and persistant yould should see your doctor to get it looked at, as well as look for other areas where it may be present so it can be properly chategorized.

Dermatologist helps: A primary care doctor can check to see what the patch might be. If needed, a dermatologist can help also. If there is something causing the spot (such as sports equipment), the cause can be removed. Sometimes, dry sensitive eczema patches look like reddish, slightly flaky areas. Also, tinea "ringworm" is a fungal skin infection that can look this way (the doctor can decide) and need an antifungal.

Not herpes: Once someone has recurrent herpes, either oral or genital, for more than a few months, it almost never spreads elsewhere. And if the leg patches were herpes, they would look the same and behave the same as your other outbreaks. Almost certainly this is something else, entirely unrelated to herpes.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful answer without examining you. If the lesion has not changed in a few weeks, you may watch and wait. If the lesion changes, enlarges, other lesions develop, lesions develops exudation, you get fever or lose weight, see a doctor.
