? folliculitis: It sounds like folliculitis, a bacterial infection of the scalp similar to acne.  If you look close you may see a pustule when they first break out.  They are often  itchy/tender and scratched at producing a small scab.  They tend to come and go.  There is no permanent cure, but i often treat flares with antibiotics.  I would go see a dermatologist for a definitive diagnosis and treatment options.

Folliculitis. : Could be an inflammation of the hair follicles upon the scalp.  Are your hairs emanating from the bumps?  Although this is a low-level infection, just letting warm-to-hot water run upon your scalp daily may be enough to help this along.

Bumps on the head: cysts, folliculitis (infected hair follicles), tumors both benign and malignant all can occur on the scalp.  The fact that this one does not heal and should be examined and possibly biopsied.

Folliculitis: This is folliculitis. You can try a antibacterial cleanser but usually prescription medication is needed. Make sure you avoid oil on the scalp as this can contribute to the condition.

Seborrhea?: This may well be a case of seborrheic dermatitis. The head and shouders may not help. You might want to try some selsun to see if that will help. If not call your doc for appt and advice.

Look at history: You may have symptoms of burning itching, flakes, oily, red bumps today, but it may have been as a result of something that you've been using on your scalp recently. So a good history of the products you have used on your scalp for conditioning, shampoo, coloring, oil treatments can cause a dermatitis to show up. Best to have your doctor examine it, and recommend treatment.

Sounds like: you may have SHINGLES!!!

You need a diagnosis ASAP since there is effective antiviral treatment when you TREAT EARLY!
Call your Primary Care Provider and arrange to be seen as early as practicable!!

: It could be from the irritation from shaving. Pl apply OTC cortisone ointment. If not better in a few days pl see your MD
