Folliculitis: inflamed  or infected hair follicles usually from contaminated tweezers. I suggest boiling your tweezers and after cooling down, wipe with rubbing alcohol: do this a least weekly. Use 1% OTC hydrocortisone cream on the reddened areas; however, if pus forms, you will need antibiotics.

Unless its getting worse, your developing a fever or puss is coming out you can start with warm soaks ( warm water in a rag place it on there a few min then repeat) a few times a day. The folliculitis should clear in a day or to if not see your doctor.
