recurring rashes on my legs and ankles for several months.  internist and dermatologist have diagnosed as allergic dermatitis and one said nummular eczema. currently treating with rx of triamcinolone and aveno soap.  need idea what to do next?

Moisturizer: Apply moisturizer several times per day. A moisturizer without fragrance and avoiding immersion in water may be helpful.

what are these reoccurring itchy rashes. i get them mostly on my stomach then sometimes legs. i get it like every month and they last about a few days.

Causes: If you have exposure to certain plants, insects or other triggers, a local reaction may occur. Use oatmeal bath products and a local antihistamine lotion such as Caladryl three times daily. If this does not control your rash, or if there is worsening, please see your PCP for further treatment. Wash bedding in hot water and keep your home dust free and clean.

Possibly Jock Itch: Although it is hard to say without a photo, a common rash in that area is Jock Itch (tinea cruris) which often can be treated with over the counter creams and powders.  Of course the best course of action is to have it looked at by a doctor.

Recurring Blisters: There is a chance this could be herpes...I would get in when you have the blister and the doc can culture it and also get blood test to see if your body has ever seen the virus.

Psoriasis: He has psoriasis.  It sounds severe. There are medications to help. Please get him to a good dermatologist.
