Some researchers feel there is no meaning whatsoever, and dreams represent only random neurological firing with the brain processing external stimuli.  Some feel dreams rework concerns the dreamer has in daily life.  Dreams are where we are least able to compensate consciously, and may show us areas of our lives needing care.

Dreams are where we express certain issues in our lives; it's very creative, and sometimes we work out solutions that way. Precognition: Fascinating question.  One view is that highly perceptive people see, hear, and sense things that are below conscious level.  They later think or dream about these impressions and they become conscious.  Find a trusted friend to run these dreams by and don't act on that information w/out checking it out first. Multiple possible: There are multiple possible causes for this -- from various medications which intensify dreaming, to primary sleep disorders, to traumatic experiences being relived during sleep.  Some people with ptsd have so many nightmares it's hard for them to go to sleep.  If yours are bothering you frequently, please see a psychologist or psychiatrist for evaluation and help.

It varies: Anybody can have a wet dream (nocturnal orgasm). They are more common in men. Unresolved sexual tension or stimulation makes it more likely for you to have a wet dream. More frequent intercourse or masturbation may help. The good news, is they are not harmful. No side effects.
