Certainly: Pasta in brodo would be a very good choice for someone still symptomatic for gastroenteritis.  Keep meals simple and easily digestible.

Potentially: as some people have GI upset on  SSRI's. But I would not assume that is the reason. Take care.

Ans: Yogurt is beneficial to the gi track. So this is good. You can take runs but for short time. Best for you to drink water exercise and quit the junk foods and fatty foods

No danger: A minor illness will often do this. If there is not an extremely low level of either neutrophils or lymphocytes, you should be fine. White counts fluctuate wildly in health. Best wishes.

Not likely: If it is a viral cause then probably not as you have already been exposed. If it is another cause then it is possible. Please practice good hand washing while your household members are sick.

Replenish electrolyt: Gastroenteritis causes electrolytes especially sodium and potassium loss. Oral rehydration with tablets or powder replenishes these lost electrolytes in addition to water.

Omeprazole: like all PPI's (Proton Pump Inhibtors) take several days to a week to reach maximum effect.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if you do not have any symptoms, you may watch and wait and repeat the tests in 3-6 months.     Wish you good health!

Stomach flu: Start with clear liquid like water, soda that is clear, or sports hydration drinks.  Sip often to prevent dehydration. Work up to solids with bland foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, gelatin, or chicken. Avoid alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, dairy &high fat foods. Rest.

Stomach Flu: Drink water to hydrate yourself. You can also have clear soups / broths, unsweetened juices or oral rehydration solutions. You want to be gentle with your diet so that your GI track can recover. Stay away from dairy, leafy vegetables & most fruits initially. Caffeine & alcohol should be avoided as well as any dark carbonated beverages.
