what are the reasons for baby holding head and crying?

Many.: Most common things are probably ear infections (otitis media) and teething.  Depends on the age of the baby and etc.  I'd have her looked at by her pediatrician.

Cranky: Yor baby is probably teething. You can give him Ibuprofen before bed to help him sleep. Also give him cold things to eat like a frozen bagel half for him to nibble on. He can also suck on a cold damp cloth. As a last resort you can get oragel to put on his gums.

whenever im stressed or something doesn't go right , i will freek out cry, and then bang my head on things or bite myself why? some nights ill fall asleep crying for no reason, and then wake up happy untill something else happens. but its almost a pshycot

Please share your problem with your parents and ask them to find help for you either from a Conseller or a psychologist. It is not uncommon to have such problem during teen years but there is medical help available. But you must seek help right away and not delay it.

See below: If you mean a true blood blister with a blood under the blister, then no!  if the area looks like little broken blood vessels (called petechiae), this can occur with strong crying.  If concerned, get the child seen.

Common finding: Examination of all infants will find some fine villus hair covering many body surfaces at birth that gradually diminishes over time.In some ethnic groups it is much darker than others & thus more noticeable. Ignore it.

Sounds : Sounds like a blocked tear duct.  These generally resolve spontaneously and need to be addressed if it does not resolve after year 1.  Seeing, your pedeatrician or ophthalmologist can provide you with guidance and reassurance and follow up care as necessary.

Have him seen: Puling on his ear may or may not be anything important. Crying all day &amp; wheezing is ample reason to have him seen by his doctor to sort out all the issues involved. If he has fed well enough to pee every 6 hrs &amp; is taking fluids okay it can wait up to a day, but I would not wait longer to have him seen.

?Ear infection: Possible ear infection after 10 days with a cold.  Need to followup with child's doctor for an exam, diagnosis and treatment. In the interim can treat pain with infant tylenol or ibuprofen.
