See your doctor: This could be an allergic response of some kind. All opioids may cause histamine release with reactions like flushing and hives, but what you have happening does not sound like that. I would go back to your primary care provider or to the er that treated you asap.

Pain relief: Oxycodone is usually prescribed every four to six hours for pain treatment.  Factors that come into play when determining dose are are tolerance as well as their genetics which determine if they are fast or slow metabolizers which cause them to  have a larger dosage requirment.  "too much" for a patient is the amount that causes intolerable side effects or exceeds their doctors comfort level.

It's an opiate: Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opiate derived from codeine.  It is far more potent (5 mg of oxycodone = 30-60 mg of codeine) because it is better absorbed and isn't extensively metabolized in the liver.  It also has far fewer side effects, especially histamine release, than does Codeine or morphine, and it hits the brain very fast.  It therefore has very high abuse potential, similar to heroin.

More insufflation?: And then more insufflation and then more and then possible finding a faster route such as smoking it or IV injection. And then needing more money to do more oxycodone, then realizing heroin is cheaper, then doing more heroin then losing family and friends and all self worth. Will this happen to everyone who does this no it won't. Is it what i see everyday? Absolutely.

Not particularly: Opioid abuse can do many, many things, but ruining your heart is not usually among them. There are rare cases of pulmonary edema, which can look like heart failure clinically, that are associated with opiates, but most cases occur with heroin use rather than prescription drugs, although these are also reported. These cases involve the lungs directly though, and not heart failure.
