No: Ibs is not associated with a rash. There are many other GI conditions that mimic ibs which do cause a rash, including celiac disease (causes dermatitis herpetiformis) and inflammatory bowel disease (erythema nodosum). Check with your doctor to make sure you have been evaluated for these these conditions. Medication can certainly cause a rash as well.

It : It is very difficult to say what type of rash this is without actually seeing it myself. Also I am not sure what you are referring to when you state "diabetic rash". A common cause of rash in diabetics are fungal infections. In addition a dark rash usually found on the neck and under the arms in diabetics is called acanthosis nigricans, this is due to Insulin resistance. If the rash is itchy then consider trying over the counter Clotrimazole cream twice a day. Otherwise follow up with your doctor.

Do not worry: An isolated petechial rash on the left breast most likely represents local irritation from your bra or clothing. Are you wearing any new bras? Do they feel tight?  Have you taken up a new exercise program or jogging? If the petechial rash starts to involve other parts of your body or if you have any bruising you need to have a blood count done by your internist. Your platelet count could be low.

Hydrocortisone: 1%  hydrocortisone might be helpful, but if the rash is infected with either a bacteria or fungus, it might be a good idea to consult with a dermatologist for proper dx and tx, which possibly  require a prescription med.

Try and get some daily air into that area - let him run around diaperless outside - who cares if he poops or pees on the lawn? Then, a diaper cream that has zinc oxide may be more useful - some brand names: triple paste, butt paste, desitin, (zinc oxide diaper cream) or generic zinc oxide.

Lifting in itself is: -not a cause of any rash. General hygiene could be. If on any meds 4 any reason contact Ur provider, as this could B an allergic reaction 2 it. If due 2 poor hygiene, always shower clean under garments every time.
