Pubic rash: Consult your primary care doctor to diagnose the rash before thinking of treating it. Some benign rashes heal spontaneously. The rash could be caused by simple irritation, heat rash, infection, infestation (lice, mites, e.g.).

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It could be genital herpes and it would be prudent to see a doctor.

See your doctor.: This may be an allergic contact reaction or a folliculitis, but a sexual transmitted infection like scabies or herpes need to be excluded.

Not easy: Shaving bumps result from shaving too closely and get irritation(rash) and hair bumps. Can be worsened by clothing irritation(underwear line). Best solution may be light/laser hair removal.

Sure: You can try it, but if the rash doesn't go away see your physician as its unclear what it is just based on the fact that there is a rash and itch.

occasional tingling sensation in pubic area (like something is crawling around down there),  occasional pink spots/rashes? in pubic area. redness in groin crease. a few pimples in the area (not painful or itchy) urine does appear darker in color at times.

i have an armpit rash that won't go away. i stopped using roll-ons and sprays, tried prescribed and offthecounter creams, sensitive products but it won't go away. i suspect im allergic to sweat because i also have itchiness and rashes in pubic area.

Under arm rash : It is hard to say what the rash is without looking at it in person. It could be anything from a fungal rash to something more concerning such as hidradenitis suppurativa. Both of which require totally different treatments. Since you have not had any luck taking care of this yourself it’s time to seek a professional opinion from your PCP. Good luck with curing this rash.

Change antiviral?: You cannot get rid of the virus that causes chicken pox and also shingles - varicella zoster.  Would be odd, but not impossible, to have shingles on face and pubic area. May be another virus. Liquid from oozing lesions can be tested to see what virus it is.

have shingles and have been getting rashes on my leg, pubic area, face, mouth why would my doc want a hiv test, i am offended by this i have shingles ?

Don't be offended: Be safe, get checked.  That is a large number of places to have shingles erupt all at the same time.  Your physician is doing his due diligence and making sure there is nothing wrong with your immune system. HIV is common and can be crossed off his list for possible reasons this is occurring to you.  Be well, don't be offended, sounds like you have a good doctor!
