Allergy consult: It can be from something which you use regularly on your lips  a contact allergy does not appear until about 24 to 72 hrs after the contact so that you may not be suspicious of its existence.

Some thoughts...: Persistent chapped lips may be lip eczema, which can be treated like skin eczema, using Hydrocortisone cream, plus vaseline or Aquaphor to moisturize. Sometimes, lipsticks or lip sunscreen chemicals are causing an allergic reaction on the lips. Other times, a person is a primary lip-licker (it's her habit). Once cracked, lips get irritated by routine foods and juices. A doctor can sort things out.

Candidiasis: Yeast infection from constant wetness could predispose you to have candidal infection or it could be lip licking eczema! have a dermatologist look at it for your piece of mind! regards!

i had dental work done 3 months ago, and i have lip swelling and skin rash around the lips. both dermatologist and ent suggest allergic reaction to bioclear dental bonding. dentist says highly unlikely. i'm considering removing the bonding..?

Please have your: child seen today by his/her doctor. A fever and rash may be a simple virus, but could be strep or a more serious bacterial infection. The hard stools are probably unrelated.
