Generally influenza will be active in the community and doctors, having been informed of this by the health departments, will have high indices of suspicion.

No 2 persons have identical antibody responses to any illness, and this has been verified in the lab. One may have minimal if any symptoms,the other all.

Good question: Because a virus is DNA or RNA, I used to think that a virus could not survive at all outside a cell.  In reviewing the literature a while ago, I found to my surprise that some viruses can remain for days or weeks on inanimate objects and in water or sewage for very long periods of time. So it depends on the virus but they can survive outside the body for days to months.

With an intact: Immune system thrush is usually only caused by oral inhaled steroid use of antibiotics.  Not normally a spontaneous illness.  If your "flu" was treated with antibiotics then that is the culprit.  Should be treated with oral antifungals.

None: There are no supplements that stop the flu. Once you have an infection, it does have to run its course.  What you can do is help the recovery process and symptoms.  You can try oscillinum to stop you from getting worse.  If in full swing try elderberry. To prevent this, stay healthy using vitamin d, probiotics, b complex, fish oil, glutathione regularly.
