This can be triggered by some subconscious alarm over an anxiety provoking medical condition in another loved one or acquaintance or some media exposure to a heart related event. But often no trigger can be identified

: Rapid heart rate is one of the symptoms of cardiomyopathy or myocarditis. I am not sure if your heart rate is fast, more than 100, or you just feel palpitation. You should see your family doctor for a thorough evaluation because quarantine is not required after 2 weeks.

It's okay: Heart palpitation in young/healthy individuals is usually benign. Often it represents a "skipped beat" or premature contraction. Being able to visualize your heart beating in your chest/stomach is common in thin individuals. If your palpitations continue or you pass out then you should see your doctor.

See your Dr.: This is something that should be checked in person by a DR. You need an EKG and a thorough exam in order to rule out heart conditions. It could just be an anxiety attack, but you need a Dr to rule out more urgent problems.
