i am experiencing wrist rash and itchy wrist. at first i thought it was a small flea bite. the bite dried/scabbed quickly after which i covered it. now that i remove the plaster is see the area is expanding and slightly raised. ?

Wrist rash: It's possible that you had an allergic reaction and contact dermatitis from the bandage. Cellulitis(skin bacterial infection) usually burns and reddens instead of itching. Apply a corticosteroid ointment, but if spreading redness and/or burning develops, see your physician for evaluation and treatment.

Contact rash: also called contact dermatitis due to coming in contact with any thing that you were allergic to. may use 1% hydrocortisone cream . If not better please see your primary care physician

: Skin rash is a know side effect of carbimazole. However, you should not stop taking the medication without talking to the doctor who prescribed it. It also requires taking more history and physical examination to ascertain the cause of the rash. It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Contact dermatitis: This may be a contact allergy from something she touched with her hands.  Has she been near possible poison ivy?  Can treat with OTC benadryl and if it does not improve you will need to see your doctor.

Try hydrocortisone : Try over the counter Hydrocortisone cream.   Contact allergy, insect bites and the like will generally respond.  If the rash looks infected however, the cream will not help.

Probably not: You probably have a contact dermatitis from your watch band or some wrist jewelry would be my guess.  Let your doc take a look at it and see if they can help.
