Essentially no.: All those working with x-rays and radioisotopes wear sensor tags to monitor the amount of radiation they receive. This is monitored monthly and extensive education is given to minimize radiation exposure. All this results in many people working with diagnostic radiation with no problems. Lastly, no radiation is encountered in ultrasound and MRI imaging.

Shouldn't: affect the ability to get an imaging study as long as it is indicated medically.  Still, it is true that in certain communities and in certain cultures that doesn't happen. Certain cultures will not allow a male physician examine a female patient nor matter how urgent.  Some communities are under served, a very complicated problem.

Nothing significant: These two term are often used interchangeably for the agent injected to create Nuclear Medicine scan images.

Radon gas: Radon gas is a radioactive byproduct of the decay of isotopes on the earth. Basement may have a high enough concentration, depending on the geology. You can buy a kit to measure radon gas in your home.

If you have symptoms: of gallstone disease, such as pain and fatty food intolerance, you might need a cholecystectomy, depending on severity.  This is a very common operation which can be performed through laparoscopy with minimal risk and morbidity.

There is: a very small theoretical increased cancer risk from medical imaging, however it is cumulative, so the more imaging, the higher the theoretical risk(see xrayrisk.com).  The link would be difficult to prove due to the relatively long latency, and the fact that the hypothetical cancers are no different than cancers that arise in that particular body part for other reasons.

Hi. : Hi. I can't diagnose your friend's problem. Asthma is often worse late at night or in the wee hours of the morning. When people are evaluated in the emergency room,  treatments are given to rapidly help. However, there is not usually continual follow up with the same provider.  Both asthma and brochitis can present with wheezing and coughing. 
  I recommend that he see a pulmonary doctor who can do some specific breathing tests on him. Pulmonologists specialize in care of the lung. If your friend is having to use his inhaler through out the day; that suggests that his symptoms are not well controlled.

ULTRASOUND!!!: Ultrasound is well established for evaluating fetal measurements with well established standards and no demonstrated negative biological effects in humans. Far superior to x-rays and far less expensive than mri.

how much medical imaging is too much? ive had 2 ct scans and 5 mammograms and a few dental x-rays 3 x-rays all of abdomen im very scared about getting cancer from this. what are my chances?

That is not much: It is highly unlikely that a patient develops cancer from just having 2 or 3 CT scans. Life in the modern world causes cancer (and of course there was cancer before modern times), but having 3 CT scans will make no noticeable difference when compared to everything else we face in life. In California, we have "useless" signs posted everywhere, warning about cancer-causing substances.
