You might ask your psychiatrist about that possibility and perhaps you might need to be on a drug to help you slow down and concentrate. You might also practice yoga, which can also teach you to focus and slow down.

They can be symptom of Anxiety.
Hydroxyzine reduces activity in the central nervous system.  It can decrease racing thoughts, not stop racing thoughts.
