Follow directions: Exercise can increase the amt of nicotine in your blood by an uncertain amt - so to be safe do as they urge. Placement matters - thin skin = faster reaction, thick = slower more even. Change exact spots to prevent irritation. Follow directions! That's why they are given. Best!

Stress?: It is very difficult to stop smoking and can cause the stomach to produce more acid or even develop an ulcer.   Hopefully you can get some support and at the very least use an antacid for awhile, particularly before bed.   Consider getting a nicotine patch to help reduce the withdrawal from nicotine.

every time i quit smoking i get awful warm swelling and bloating in back and lower stomach, can't eat or even lean on back area at times. help :)?

Withdrawal symptoms?: You might be experiencing nicotine withdrawal in this fashion.  Have you tried nicotine replacement?  Studies show nicotine replacement and phone therapy in combination have the best results in being able to quit cigarettes successfully

Probably normal: When you stop using tobacco, you body can react in many different ways. Common nicotine withdrawal symptoms include being irritable, feeling tired, irregular sleeping and cravings. Other systems can be affected -- sinuses, stomach, bowels - mostly because they are going back to "normal'. Hang in there, you did a great thing. Remember to get sleep, drink water and eat healthy (limit fats ; sugars).
