Vascular damage: and clotting disorders, can increase the risk of developing post procedure blood clots.  Thrombophilias, (clotting disorders), inborn tendency for blood clotting, are more common than once was recognized. Testing for genetic variations, and history of previous clots can be helpful to know, but not all clots are preventable.

Varies: A 16 month old might be bruised from toddling around. If it is a "bruise" that has been there since birth, it is probably a blue grey macule (formerly called a "mongolian spot"). These are harmless and fade over time. If you are concerned about bruising or easy bleeding, see your baby's doctor.

Need more info: If by "nipped" you mean bitten by an animal, then it could be marks from tissue injury showing bleeding under/in the skin. I'd suggest showing it to your doctor where you can better describe what "nipped" means. You should also take a photo of it for the doc to see, as it will change over time.

Briuses: I'm not sure of your daughter's age. There is a diagnosis called Mongolian spots which are pigmented cells that during development form spots that look like bruises but if not this they could be truly bruises and need an explanation. It is not usual to see bruising in that location. Take a picture and have her checked. Make sure no one is hurting her. All the best.

I do not think so: If you do not have any Blood disorder like Anemia, low Platlate count then there is nothing to worry about. Some times Bruise may appear unknowingly. If one or 2 and very infrequent:it is ok. If recurrent; please get your blood checked.

a mosquito bited me a couple houres ago , it got swollen and purple. is that dangerous ? because i'm afraid of the purple bruise

Should be okay: Some people react to mosquito bites with bruising. It is not dangerous. If you develop fever or other symptoms then you need to see a doctor but the bruise will go away on its own.
