It : It sounds as if you may have high blood pressure. I wonder if you have been to a drug store and checked your reading? In any event you need to see a doctor asap as these are all worrying signs of elevated blood pressure and stress on the heart. Go to the er right away if you have sustained chest pain accompanied by shortness of breath, radiation of pain to your neck or arm or rapid heart rate.

Palpitation: Need to see doc asap for evaluation, arrhythmia such as flutter, wpw(wolff-parkinson-white syndrome), supraventricular tachycardia etc... May cause this; however other diseases such as anxiety , hyperthyroidism may also cause palpitation.

Chest pain: Chest pain can be serious. I would need much more information in order to assess the risks. How old is your boyfriend? What are his risk factors for cardiac disease? What are his risk factors for clotting problems? Is there a history of trauma? He needs a full clinical evaluation with history, physical examination, and other studies. Please go to an emergency room or urgent care now. Don't delay.

Need more info: Not enough information give, so differential is very wide.  Could be related to esophagus or stomach if happens after meals; both sides of the chest - unlikely to be cardiac, unless it occurs with exertion; how long does it last?  Is it radiating? Is it related to taking deep breath?  My advise is to see a doctor since you may need physical exam and ECG in addition to more history.

Elbow pain: It's difficult to determine how serious a symptom is without a full history and physical examination.  Its never a bad idea to discuss your symptoms in person with your personal physician so that he/she can take a better look at your elbow as well.
