i feel my pulse on the left side of my head and my blood pressure is low. why dose this happen ?

Not entirely sure: It is normal to feel your pulse over the temporal area of your head. This is the superficial temporal artery. Are you sure your "blood pressure is low?" Absolute hypotension is defined as below 90/60 mmHg. In most patients, this is something serious, suggesting impending shock. I would check your blood pressure first, and then seek help, especially if you have symptoms of low blood pressure.

left side of head has been visibly pulsating on an off for a few weeks now. i can see my pulse above my ear and between my ear an eye (in my hair line / where sunglasses would rest between ear an eye there is frequent seen movement. what is this?

: That is the area of temporal artery and I doubt of any significance. Just observe for now and let us know when you have new symptoms. By the way, check you blood pressure if you have not had it done for quite some time.

Temporal artery: Check your blood pressure. If the temporal artery is tender of feels thick, visit your physician as soon as you can. We don't want to miss temoral arteritis.

laying down or sitting down side of head twitch or pulse. not always but throughout the day. no pain associated with it. why?

Muscle fatigue: Muscles will often twitch when they have been fatigued and then are resting. You may also feel your pulse when you are relaxed and that could be what you're feeling. Sometimes if there is a nerve that's irritated it can cause twitching and cramping but that's usually lower extremity and associated with some pain. Not to worry nothing unusual. Good health

small vein on right side of head, near temple. can feel pulse on it with finger. is the vein there, not an issue, or shud it b checked out?

The vein: in that location is very near the artery and this is why you feel pulsations.

16 yr old male, sometimes get a pulsing head pain after standing up in the right side of head. standing is all that causes this. leaves in seconds.

Head ache: It could be caused by not enough fluids.  Try drinking more fluids and see if it helps.  Follow up with your primary care giver if symptoms persist.

would an eye exam be able to tell of i'm going blind? vision have been fuzzy when reading and side of head pulsing but no pain.

Yes: fuzzy vision has many causes but a complete eye exam by an opthalmologist w can certainly tell if you are losing your vision.

had 5 sharp sting quickly in back of head above bone on skull. could feel a pulse when i touch it & other side of head too. worried about stroke im18?

Not stroke: Pl relax, as stroke symptoms are quite different including numbness, tinglings, light headedness and inability to mover certain parts of body. You may have some cellulitis or local inflammation over scalp which needs to be checked by your doctor or urgent care.

what causes pain on left side of head?

Accepted Answer

Anything: Headaches can come from fatigue, sleeping too much or too little, eye strain, sleep apnea, snoring, being dehydrated, having chronic sinusitis or allergies, too much caffeine or over the counter headache medication, high blood pressure or something more serious like a tumor. See your doctor and get checked.
