when i do intense cardio exercises, i feel a sharp pulsating pain in right side neck, ear and head. disappear after 30min in repose, what can this be?

Many possibilities.: The symptoms sound most likely migraine headaches triggered by exercise. It may be pain caused by muscular tension. These problems could also be due to a sudden increase in blood or abdominal pressure or may be heart problems. It is possibly you may be hyperventilating. Get an evaluation with your doctor while exercising. Until then, engage in less vigorous exercise.

See the doctor: Could be associated with carotid artery disease, and that may be serious. Get an evaluation asap.

Muscle strain: You most likely have muscle strain (trapezius?). Applying local heat will help. Meanwhile, an NSAID like naproxen if safe for you, can give pain relief, and less so with acetaminophen. Hope that helps

May be normal physio: This may be  normal physiology. Your best  approach is to see your physician. Dilated veins or neck artery I can't tell. This  may or  may not be due to your heart.

Tmj muscle pain: Muscle spasm. Try Motrin for pain. Another option is tmj.  A way to tell is to open and close the jaw with a finger placed in the TMJ socket which is roughly the pocket created when one opens the mouth and places a finger directly in front of the ear canal right at the level of the sideburns.  Softer foods, warm compresses and Motrin should help. Avoid gum chewing. If persists see md.

Migraine ?: Migraine  with neck triggers. Usually is one-sided, mostly in women and associated with blurred vision, tinnitus, lacrimation, sensitivity to light/noise, nausea and neck/arm pain. At this point if the headache &gt;14 days/month is considered episodic and easier to manage.
Se your headache specialist for evaluation and preventative treatment.

Pain from a disc: or "pinched nerve" in the neck is usually "RADICULAR" that is it RADIATES down your arm(s)
An MRI should answer your question ...ask your Primary Care Provider!

Depends: If this is new/sudden onset, then i'd talk to your doctor immediately!  if this has been going on for a while and has progressed, there are things that can be done.  Sometimes, neck issues can trigger headaches.  Sometimes they are independent.  Mri studies may be helpful.

Varies: There a variety of potential causes; from a pinched nerve in the neck with associated spasm to a viral illness with lymphadenopathy.  I would not hesitate to be seen and evaluated for it.
