i had a sharp bone that bothered me on the roof of my palate. the doctor said that he would shave a little but instead cut my hamulus off and part of pterygoid plate. can this be corrected with a bone graft somehow?

Not really: The lateral pterygoid muscle is the only muscle to open the mandible jaw while there are many muscle group to close the jaw. Protrusive action is one of movement possible when you open the jaw. While Mandibular nerve is a sensory and motor nerve from cranial Trigeminal nerve. If impair happened on this nerve, then it will affect the movement of the mandible jaw whether in open or close motion.

: A bone age of 18 suggests the growth centers have closed and further increase in height is not possible. The doc who ordered the study can clarify what it says. If the growth centers are closed, no diet/medication/exercise will make him grow taller.

initially the pain emanated from cycling. its been over 3 or 4 month and my butt hurts when standing up especially or when i squeeze my butt. almost feels like my tail bone .. i have to cringe every time i get up from a chair. especially a hard one?

: Could.it be the manubrium of the sternum,which is the prominence at the top of the breast bone?  Could it be the lower tip of the breast bone which is a piece of cartilage ( xiphoid process) &amp; can standout prominently in slender people?  A physician would have to examine you in order to advise you what that prominent bone is.

i have a bone with s tooth like appearance, impacted into my left sinus passages.i am scared to get operated on.what do i do.help please?
