I have a bone sticking out in my upper chest its painless but it bothers me?

Could.it be the manubrium of the sternum,which is the prominence at the top of the breast bone? Could it be the lower tip of the breast bone which is a piece of cartilage ( xiphoid process) & can standout prominently in slender people? A physician would have to examine you in order to advise you what that prominent bone is.
