WIthout signs of specific mental illness, believing in telepathy by itself is not a delusion nor is this psychosis. Many folks + cultures feel this way.

Auditory hallucinations have also been known to manifest as a result of intense stress, sleep deprivation, drug use, and errors in development of proper psychological processes.
