Yes they do: Yes they have malignant potential ,  40 % villous adenomas are malignant , bigger the the size greater the chances of being cancer in it. Speak to the doctor ( with your dad s permission )  get it  biopsied if it is not done for removal.

Rectal bleeding: The pathology report will help to determine the risk of colon cancer. Some polyps do raise the risk of colon cancer but some are not dangerous. Good luck

Not necessarily: The blood in your stool is probably from the hemorrhoids.  you may like to get a screening endoscopy to check for polyps and get biopsies from large or suspicious ones if you have any. Biopsies are to be examined by a pathologist who would determine if there is malignant growth.

The good news is: You caught it early  and it is removed before it turned cancerous . You need follow up colonoscopy as per your gastroenterologist . As to this particular lesion , it is precancerous but not a cancer yet . You are one of the luckiest people colonoscopy brought to the medical field.

Confusing: These conditions may or may not be related and not typical for vasculitis either.   You need to consult a GI doctor re. your symptoms.

Abdominal pressure: Post ovulatory "pressure" or distention is not related to an endometrial polyp, but may be associated with the rupture of a follicular cyst of the ovary.  If this is a frequent occurrence with ovulation, see your gyn physician for an exam, ultrasound and possible treatment.

at what age should someone with a skin tag start screening for bowel polyps / cancer (have had the skin tag since age 19 and am 31 now)?

Not related: Skin tags do not increase or decrease the risk of colon cancer.  Screening for colon cancer before age 50 is not recommended for people who have no risk factors (such as family history of early onset colon cancer or multiple colon polyps).

Not enough : Sigmoidoscopy is not an appropriate test to rule at polyps or cancer. You need to have a colonoscopy and you need to be followed very closely with GI specialist

Can , but rare: At 26 to have a colonoscopy there are specific indications you don't have any symptoms , surveillance colonoscopy is done after the age of 40 .Is a relatively safe procedure must be done by a trained physician Yes older members of your family are candidates for procedure

Yellow Stools: Any significant change in bowel habits, particularly s/p bowel resection for cancer, should be reported to your treatment team immediately. Do the stools float? ( could mean problem with fat absorption)   the yellow could be due to bile and could reflect a biliary obstructive problem. Consult your physician immediately.
