Not normally: However, something concerning about this is the very common occurrence of prostate metastisis to the lumbar spine which can lead to a radiculopathy, which causes pain radiating down the leg. If there is new radiation down leg, i would recommend seeing your oncologist as as possible and make sure to get lumbar xrays or whatever imaging the oncologist may prefer like a pet scan. Full exam: You should expect scrotal examination of the testicles, (possibly an ultrasound to be scheduled), digital rectal exam to check prostate.  Need to rule out a bunch of possible diagnoses and then will get to possible management options.

Prostatitis: Pelvic pain in and around the prostate may be from:
An infection caused by bacteria
Inflammation (painful, red, swollen tissue) from an injury or infection
Some other problem.
Prostatitis is a common, often painful condition that can happen to men of all ages. You should see a Dr to have a thorough physical exam and to determine if there is any underlying problem that requires treatment.

Prostatitis: Penicillin will not penetrate into the prostate and there are many organisms that are commonly responsible for prostatic infection that are not sensitive to penicillin derivatives. Would strongly suggest you see a doctor asap. The chills and shivering suggest that the bacteria may be entering your bloodstream from the prostate. Not a good sign. See somebody soon.

Sometimes you: need longer on the levaquin, (levofloxacin)like 30 days to clear prostatitis..This may be why you are still having pain

Seek help: It very well could be some form of infectious prostatitis. But what I would be most worried about is if your reported weight loss is related to this, as this may suggest a possible associated infection in the blood stream too.  That weight loss is quite concerning over that period of time.  You need an in-person evaluation to better determine what is going on.  Best of luck.

: If you have had a 'contact' it is best to see a Urologist to make sure you dont have prostatitis.

See details: Naproxen is a waste of time. See a urologist. Prostatitis requires antibiotics, not naproxen.
