Numerous side effect: Serious side effects--twitching and uncontrollable movement, shaking, drooling, restlessness, agitated, high fever, stiff musles, lightheaded, seizures, hallucinations,  abdominal pain, rash, joint pain, low heart rate. Less serious---dizzyness, blurred vision, dry mouth, ringing in ears, weight gain, constipation.

Yes: There are definitely drug interactions between Phenergan (promethazine) and Percocet which can lead to drowsiness, mental confusion and others which make operating motor vehicles possibly hazardous, falls possible, nausea to name a few. Be very cautious taking the two together and especially around machinery.

Promethazine: 25mg every 6 hours would be my maximum dosage.  This may make you drowsy however.  Be careful taking other medications at the same time.
