i'm 39 yrs .. i was ttc for 2 years .. my fsh was 60 and had irregular periods.. now from 1 year i am taking progyluton tablet from day 5 of my period but still i wouldn't conceive.. dr said i couldn't conceive plz help what i do..i really want baby?

High FSH at 38 ?'s: Generally, at age 38 the FSH levels are below 10, so a level of "60" may indicate early menopause.  Get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist if possible to evaluate your fertility status. Persistent FSH levels over 10 are not compatible with fertility. Donor embryo transfer may be the only option.

: Suggest asking your GYN physician for guidance in referral to a reproductive endocrinologist for ovulation induction, to overcome largely non-ovulation with PCOS.

Progyluton: This is a combination estrogen/progestin like the contraceptive pill. If you have taken it everyday, chances of  pregnancy are small.

: If I am not mistaken progyluton  is a birth control pill ,so if you want to conceive stop the pill and try for six months providing you have regular menstrual cycles every 30 days , otherwise you need to consult with a reproductive endocrinologist .

: "Proglyuton" is used for hormonal irregularities, however it is not a birth control medication, and if pregnancy occurs, Proglyuton should be discontinued as effects on fetal growth and development may occur.

But it also depends on why you are taking the drug.There are medical conditions that can mess with regular periods and also structural problems in the uterus,etc. But if it's just irregular bleeding without a serious underlying cause, then the answer is,again, yes. Just to be sure, check with your GYN

Miscarriage: With a history of irregular menses after a spontaneous miscarriage giving progyluton (estrogen) and folic acid is appropriate.  If your cycles don't return to normal you may consider taking birth control pill for several months, and then stopping to see if your normal menses returns.
