Difficult: Taking Progesterone prior to ovulation will inhibit ovulation. If you are deficient in Progesterone and you need it to support a pregnancy, the timing of when you take it is critical and it is not all month. If you take it all month it is possible to decrease the amount of lining oh your uterus and delay your period. If you are concerned about pregnancy take a test.

Probably not: Have you had an ultrasound yet to confirm a viable pregnancy?  Some light spotting early in pregnancy can be very normal.  If the bleeding gets worse call your doctor for an ultrasound.

Looks like it: A day 21 Progesterone above 10 is usually consistent with ovulation assuming that you are not on any hormonal treatment. The test is done on day 21 assuming a day 14 ovulation day.

Likely: Cyclogest is Progesterone administered topically and some of it is likely to get absorbed and show up in a blood test for progesterone.

Very good result,: for ovulation having occurred on cycle day 14. This level sometimes goes with early pregnancy, or even twins. So further testing with your doctor is imperative, to find out for sure.

It depends : If you have a regular 34 day cycle, you should ovulate on day 20 and if the progesterone on day 21 is consistent with ovulation, the progesterone on day 28 should still be consistent with ovulation. Testing again would only be helpful if for some reason a luteal phase defect was suspected. Talk with the doctor ordering the test about whether it needs to be repeated. Hope this helps.

Progesterone : It is not progesterone level that affects ovulation but FOllicle stimulating hormone level .

i am currently 8weeks 4days pregnant my progesterone levels have dropped in a week from 75 nmol/l to 58.2. is this anything to be concerned about? my next blood test isnt until 12 weeks and im worried it will keep dropping?

: If you are at "8w4d" confirmed by ultrasound, if there has been no vaginal bleeding, it is unlikely that the progesterone level is insufficient to support the pregnancy.  If bleeding starts, contact your OB physician immediately, who will supplement the progesterone with oral or IM progesterone.
