Probably not: Have you had an ultrasound yet to confirm a viable pregnancy? Some light spotting early in pregnancy can be very normal. If the bleeding gets worse call your doctor for an ultrasound.

Maybe: It is not uncommon for Progesterone suppositories or insets to cause some spotting. However 8 weeks is a critical time in pregnancy and you may wish to talk to your doctor about getting a ultrasound.

Usually not: Sometimes the Progesterone will dry the vaginal canal and cause alittle bit of spotting. If it's just a spot it's usually not of great concern. Please let your doctor's office know and have them evaluate you though.
