If you are at "8w4d" confirmed by ultrasound, if there has been no vaginal bleeding, it is unlikely that the progesterone level is insufficient to support the pregnancy. If bleeding starts, contact your OB physician immediately, who will supplement the progesterone with oral or IM progesterone.

The normal serum progesterone level in the first trimester is 11.2 to 90 ng/mL. If you are not having any vaginal bleeding and did not have an early miscarriage before, I would not worry about it. If you can get an ultrasound(USD) now it would provide relief. You can do HCG levels 2 weeks apart as well, but simply waiting and seeing the Fetal heart beat on the USD is the reasonable thing to do.
