hi, i'm having problems inhaling deep. every time i inhale deep i feel discomfort on my chest which results on a repid cough which causes more chest discomfort?

Sometimes asthma meds such as albuterol inhalers and anti-inflammatories like corticosteroids are also needed. If doing well on treatment, a mild residual cough can be around for 2-3 weeks, but one should be much improved after the first week. For bad symptoms, the ER helps.

i had a pft which shows "asthma". i have no problem inhaling fully, but exhaling is hard. my symptoms have gotten much worse after a chest infection.

Unsure: Unsure but this is a terrible idea if done intentionally (like huffing to get high).  Don't do it.

Let's see: Some scent can trigger bodily function -- i guess for you coffee probably triggers an esophageal spasm.

does inhaling cleaning products cause any problem? i inhaled a cloth which we use for cleaning purpose. it have been dipped in cleaning chemical for bathroom tiles also dipped with detergents powder does it cause any harm inhaling it for few seconds?

: Inhaling a cloth would choke almost anyone up I would think. I would depend on the stuff in the cloth.  Read stuff bottle and you can call poisoning hotliine.

GERD/aspiration: If the symptom also is associated with heartburn, an acidic taste in your mouth, taking an over the counter PPI, avoiding excessive spicy foods, caffeine and late night snacks/meals may relieve these symptoms. If you experience cough, fever, runny nose, please have a screening test for COVID 19. COVID 19 may present with few  symptoms, and fatigue is a common clinical feature. Please follow up.

Inhaled foreign body: This is a serious problem. When an object is inhaled, it can end up stuck in the throat (with coughing, choking, gagging), in the lungs (where it may or may not trigger  cough), or in the stomach, where it will usually pass. Throat and respiratory inhalation require immediate care to dislodge or remove the object. Stomach ingestions can be watched for 72 hours to see if they pass on their own.
