Yes: If there were no other recent changes in medication and there is no other plausible explanation for the fatigue, daytime sleepiness, and tremors, i would assume that they are side effects of the newly started pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) even though it was started nine days before the symptoms began.

Withdrawal symptoms: While it's most likely not life threatening or dangerous, I never recommend to my patients to quit any medicine all at once.  I have them gently taper down if for some reason they need to stop.  With Pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) which is similar to Effexor, they may experience agitation, electric like shocks, and irritability for several days.
Please talk to your doctor.

Can get slight: improvement with increased dose. Not any significant increase in side effects. Discuss this with your psychiatrist who knows you the best.

Here are a few: Hypertension (up to 2% of people), increased cholesterol levels, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, loss of appetite, dizziness, headache, insomnia, feeling too tired, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, withdrawal if you miss a dose.  These are among the more common ones and occur in 5-20% of folks on average.

Talk to doc: Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) does have withdrawal syndrome similar to Effexor and should be weaned off rather than abruptly discontinued. Do consult your psychiatrist.
